His artistic orientation goes in a myriad of research directions, including technical musical aspects though history and around the world, aspects of metacomposition, the role of new arts in current society issues and hard to grasp reflections on symbolics and subconscious activity.
As a composer, he finds himself often in the double task of exploring deeper into his already established interests and procedures while at the same time exploring beyond the limits of what he knows. Two fundamental aspects of study have stayed with him all along since the very beginning: pitch organization and the orientation of the musical perception through different proportional segmentations of time.
He obtained his Masters in Composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, working with Richard Ayres and Wim Henderickx as main teachers. Previous academic teaching (MMus in Composition, Bachelor in Music Education) brought him to Seville and Estonia, learning from composers such as Servando Valero, Antonio J. Flores or Toivo Tulev.
He had the opportunity to learn from many other teachers in seminars, masterclasses, courses and provate lessons. Among them, Hèctor Parra, Carola Bauckholt, Georg Friedrich Haas, Toshio Hosokawa, Dmitri Kourliandski, David del Puerto, etc…
His music has been performed in Spain, The Netherlands, Estonia, Belgium, Singapore and Taiwan. Future projects to be premiered in Japan, United States and Germany. He has worked with the Nieuw Ensemble, Atlas Ensemble, Orkest de Ereprijs, Zahir Ensemble, Versión Vocal, Manufaktur für Aktuelle Musik and Looptail among other ensembles, and collaborated with artists as the set designer Martina Bauer, the dancer and choreographer Eduardo Rojas or the graphic artist Kry García.
He has been since 2008 continuously engaged in musical education and promotion, organizing and crowdfunding musical initiatives such as the «Noches de Repálago» concert series in Seville, the MASC collective or the sound-light-space experience «Baptista, vel Solis Cedens».
He was granted as 2016 supported artist by the Young Artfund Amsterdam (YAA).
